lenstr:

Function:

lenstr: converts the length of the character string into an integer.

Syntax:

	lenstr:(string)

string is a character string not containing a comma, parentheses or square brackets.

Examples:

	N=lenstr:(ABC123) 				becomes N=6 on output.
	M=lenstr:('HI THERE!') 		becomes M=11
