Molecular information is exported to RasMol
using either PDB or XYZ files generated by PIG. The XYZ file has
the advantage that it contains the full atom contents on the PIG
screen. It is also a the perfect way to have RasMol discover
crystallographic symmetry!
These PIG generated file are also a great way to
interface to other chemistry programs that don't yet read
CIF's.
